Need to Reduce Expenses? I can help!

July 13, 2011

I reduce expenses. For example, as an Engineering team of 3 at Honeywell Aerospace, we updated the Utility Transfer Assembly (UTA) test procedure in 4.5 days, versus an earlier update of 2 weeks, with a greater than 58% scope increase, and at only 1/8 of the alloted budget

The UTA is launched on the ESP-2, and can be seen highlighted and under the Quest Joint Airlock.

On both the port, and starboard sides of the International Space Station (ISS), all of the power flows through the UTA in the Solar Alpha Rotary Joint (SARJ).
