Of course you have.  You answered everything they’ve asked.  You’ve offered suggestions along the way.  You’ve even explored some options … just in case.  But, there’s still a communication break down.

I’ve been saying for years, “Folks I want on my team have to have Strength and Interest.”

If you have Strength in your position, and you’re Interested in it, you can move the world … or at least, a small part of it.  😉

If you’re not Strong at something, but Interested, you won’t be

Job versus Opportunity

I was recently asked, “Are you looking for a Job that will lead to an Opportunity, or an Opportunity that will lead to a Job?”

I paused, and thought, what an interesting way to put that!

I know it was for demonstration purposes only, but I saw a seminar yesterday where piece parts were to be welded on, and they treated, dimensioned, and balooned as individual parts.  Not true.
